GENERAL TERMS

1. Usage of Information

Due to the nature of the Human Act Prize (HAP) as an open platform, by registering to participate in the program, you agree to allow us to use and process personal/business information and registered profiles without prior notice or compensation for the purposes of project operation and promotion of the program. This includes, but is not limited to, the following forms:

HAP reserves the right to use this information to communicate with the registrants during the program. Additionally, the personal information provided in the profiles may be transferred to affiliated parties for the purpose of information exploitation for press and media coverage.

HAP and affiliated media units (including but not limited to press agencies, social networks, etc.) have the right to use the business information disclosed for the purpose of publication on the website, information exploitation in the press, social media, and other communication channels.

With respect to any information you provide to us or that we obtain from your award registration profile, you commit and guarantee that: The information, images, videos ('Data') are accurate, legal, and the provision, consent for our use, and processing of the Data is entirely in compliance with applicable laws and any relevant security regulations. You understand and acknowledge that we have no obligation to verify the accuracy and legality stated above, and you will bear full responsibility in the event of a breach of this commitment.

2.General Terms on the Award

The Organizing Committee reserves the ultimate decision-making authority regarding the award based on the announced evaluation criteria as well as the right to verify your eligibility. Any complaints or accusations regarding the award will be addressed in accordance with the regulations of the Organizing Committee. In cases where submitted entries show signs of violating legal provisions or award regulations, or in the event of received complaints or accusations, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to review and eliminate the entry. The decision of the Organizing Committee is final, and you are not allowed to appeal or dispute after the decision has been rendered.

In the event of receiving awards, you are responsible for fulfilling any personal income tax obligations arising from the awards according to legal regulations (if applicable). The prizes, being tangible items, cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to others. The Organizing Committee is not responsible for any dissatisfaction of the award winners with the prize items.

Acceptance of any award implies your consent for the Organizing Committee, Sponsorship Unit, or affiliated media units to contact and use the information and data in the registration profile for the purposes of publication and advertising without payment of fees. We will not be liable for any complaints and/or damages that the award winner may have, whether identified or unidentified at the current time, of any nature, arising outside or in connection with: (i) the award and/or (ii) any tax liabilities related to the competition, award, and/or use of the prize."

3.Data Storage

The project profiles, products/services, and ideas participating in the award will be published and stored long-term on the award's website and database for the purposes of communication, dissemination, connection, and learning to act for the community. Individuals/organizations participating in the competition understand that this publication and storage are entirely in line with the promotion and operation purposes of the award as stated in section 1.

Human Act Prize (we) commits to protect and respect your personal information and privacy. This privacy policy outlines how we use your information as a candidate participating in the HAP award, including the use of any personal information you provide to us through the award registration system, phone (including text messages), in written correspondence (including letters and emails), and direct interactions.

When registering to participate in the award, you also agree to allow us to collect and process data in accordance with this privacy policy. All information provided by candidates to the program during the application process will be considered accurate and may be made public. We have the right to disclose this information through program communication activities, via platforms such as the website, press, social media, and other media channels (including those of our partners), and may also be transferred to affiliated parties for the purpose of information exploitation for press and media coverage, as stated in the General Terms.

Our website and the information we post online may include links to third-party websites, plugins, and applications. Clicking on these links or using those applications may allow third parties to collect or share your data. We do not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy policies. When you leave our website, we encourage you to read the privacy policies of any website you visit.

Whenever candidates provide their personal data, we use your information in accordance with all current laws of Vietnam related to the protection of that information.

This policy may be amended or updated over time, and any changes will be posted on this page. Therefore, please check back regularly

3. Data we collect about you

3.1 We collect and process personal data. Typically, the personal data we collect and process will include information about identity, transactions, profiles, and activities such as:

3.1.1 Identity data includes last name, first name, job title, or other identifiers, marital status, gender, and images.
3.1.2 Contact data includes billing address, email address, and phone number.
3.1.3 Transaction data includes records of your activities with us or instances when you visit our premises.
3.1.4 Profile data includes information collected from feedback and the application submission process. Please note that we may collect and/or process other personal data depending on the circumstances.

3.2 We do not collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about you (including details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, information about your health, genetic, and biometric data). We also do not collect any information about criminal convictions and offenses.

3.3 We only collect data from you directly or through third parties (see Third Parties section below).

4. How is your personal data collected?

We use different methods to collect your data, including:

Direct Interaction. You may furnish us with your Identity, Contact Information, and Personal Details by completing the forms or transmitting such information via postal mail, telephone, text messages, email, or other applicable means.

5. If you do not provide personal data

In the event that we need to lawfully collect personal data, and you are unable to provide such data when requested, we may be unable to proceed with processing the categories in which you are involved. In such cases, it may be necessary to cancel your invovled category/registration, and we will notify you if this situation arises.

6. How your data will be used

6.1 We use your information to:

6.1.1 Carry out media-communication activities; obligations arising from your participation;

6.1.2 Collect feedback and conduct research on our activities; and

6.1.3 notify you of changes to activities.

6.2 We do not sell your data to third parties or allow third parties to contact you without your consent.

6.3 We only share your data with third parties when we have a legal obligation to do so or when we have identified a legitimate legal basis. We may process your personal data without your knowledge or consent when required or permitted by law.

6.4 Where you have told us that you consent to us doing so, we will also use this information:

6.4.1 To provide you with information about other activities similar to those you have previously shown interest in; and

6.4.2 To provide you with information about campaigns or activities that we feel may be of interest to you.

Please note that when you have consented to us sharing your information with a third party, it is advisable to review their privacy policy. If you have any concerns regarding how the third party utilizes your information, kindly contact them directly.

7.Third parties and information sharing

7.1 We shall retain your information internally unless the disclosure of information is required by law, permitted by law, or when we utilize third-party services to support our operations. Third parties are not authorized to take any action with your personal data unless expressly instructed by us to do so.

7.2 The third parties with whom we collaborate will have their own privacy policies, and once your information has been transferred to them, they will control and subsequently use that information. We advise you to review the privacy policy of the third party before allowing us to share any of your personal data with them.

8.Data Security

8.1 We have implemented appropriate security measures to safeguard your personal information from unauthorized use, access, alteration, or disclosure. Additionally, we restrict access to your personal data to employees, agents, contractors, and other third parties with business operations that may be relevant to your information. They will only be granted access to your data with our permission and must commit to absolute security measures.

8.2 We have established procedures and processes to address any individual or organization that breaches security rights. We will notify you and any relevant regulatory authorities of any violations as required by law.
