Part 1
Starting background of the project/
initiative
In the context where dairy farming in Vietnam is fragmented and underdeveloped, TH has organized large-scale production, applied high-tech machinery and equipment, adopted top global production standards, and quality control throughout the entire concentrated livestock farm cluster, with a focus on comprehensive sustainable development for the entire closed-loop production process from green pastures to TH true MILK fresh milk.
The project "High-tech dairy farm cluster, CO2 emission reduction, green economy, circular economy" also adheres to the 6 pillars in the Sustainable Development Policy built by TH based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These include:
Nutrition & Health (SDG 2, 3, and 12):
Enhance the physical and mental well-being of the Vietnamese people by providing nutritious products beneficial to health. Encourage a shift in Vietnamese consumption habits from powdered milk to using pure fresh milk.
Environment (SDG 7, 12, 13, 14, and 15):
Successfully implement a circular economy model, where by-products and waste from this process become inputs for another process, contributing to green and circular economy practices.
People (SDG 2, 5, 8, and 10):
Ensure and promote happiness in all aspects of employees working on the farm cluster as well as the local people in the area.
Education (SDG 4):
Organize courses and seminars for employees, providing them with opportunities for development.
Community (SDG 1, 2, 3, and 8):
Community-based initiatives initiated for local areas, creating many jobs and stable income for the workforce.
Animal Welfare (SDG 2, 8, 10, and 17):
Treat animals with utmost respect, considering their welfare in alignment with the highest ethical standards.
