The award categories of the Human Act Prize are assessed based on a set of general evaluation criteria.
Commitment, or level of commitment, length of CSR projects/products/services/initiatives.
This criterion considers:
• Financial commitment
• Time commitment
• Future development plans
• Transparency
Sustainability assesses the project's ability to allow communities to continue its CSR activities. This criterion is considered by:
• Community participation
• Long-term impacts
• Financial sustainability (If there are no sponsors, can the project continue to be maintained?)
Innovation is expressed through new discoveries, breakthrough solutions discovered by projects, products / services or CSR initiatives. This criterion considers:
• The discovery and solving of social issues
• Creativity of proposed solutions
• Unique features of the operating model
Impact assesses the ability to make a positive and broad impact.
This criterion is considered by:
• The number of beneficiaries
• Changes in the beneficiaries' lives
• Alignment with the UN and Government’s policies and plans
Replication assesses the project’s ability to spread, replicate, create inspiration and offer lessons for the community and similar projects.
This criterion considers by:
• Humanitarian inspiration of the project
• Convenient, creative, and scalable operating model
• Clear vision and strategy
The category honors community projects, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, or sustainable development endeavors with innovative initiatives that generate profound, sustainable impacts or address pressing societal issues.
This category honors projects with the ability to spread, replicate, inspire, and offer lessons for similar projects.
This criterion considers:
• The humanitarian aspect: the degree of focus on people's lives, demonstrated through the urgency of the issues to be addressed; the ability to identify and address issues of underprivileged groups.
• Operational model: convenient, creative, and easily replicable; the project is designed to be simple and easily implemented, and can be transferred to different groups within the community.
• Inspire others and offer lessons for similar projects:
• Documented lessons learned by the community which can be easily applied in the future
• The ability to inspire and attract communities and the public, including opportunities for media, partners, customers and the public to participate in the project
• Documented emotional and inspiring stories within the project journey.
The category honors projects that have been operating for at least three years, with stable growth from the initial targets (including but not limited to the number beneficiaries; long-term values for people, the environment, healthcare, and education systems; and annual investment commitments).
This criterion considers:
•Sustainability: Three years of continuous operation; the annual discrepancy in the amount of activities and budget does not exceed 50%.
• Growth: data-based annual growth in quality, quantity, or impact of activities.
• Commitment:
• Demonstrated through investments, human resources, and time dedicated to the project
• Demonstrated through numbers of committed sponsors or partners
• Demonstrated informations through written commitments and/or policies of the organization and its partners
• Clear vision and strategy: having a specialized team and a declared vision and mission.
The category honors projects with an operational period of at least one year, a growth of a minimum 30% in scale, including the number of participants (i.e. beneficiaries and operators) and investment.
This criterion considers:
Growth: data-based annual growth in terms of quality, quantity, or impact of the activities.
Commitment:
Demonstrated investments, human resources, and time dedicated to the project.
Demonstrated numbers of committed sponsors or partners.
Demonstrated written commitments and/or policies of the organization and its partners.
Clear vision and strategy: having a specialized team and a declared vision and mission.
This category honors projects with an operational time of at least one month, meeting at least one urgent need of the community or society at a certain time, disseminated through media and social networks.
This criterion considers:
Commitment

⮚ Demonstrated numbers of committed sponsors or partners.
⮚ Demonstrated written commitments and/or policies of the organization and its partners.
Clear vision and strategy: having a specialized team and a declared vision and mission.
Responsiveness: the degree of focus on people's lives, demonstrated through the urgency of the issues to be addressed; the ability to identify and address issues of underprivileged groups.
Implementation progress: the ability to quickly start and create impacts based on the identification of community issues.
Operational model: convenient, creative, and scalable; the project is designed to be simple, easy to implement, and can be transferred to other community groups.
This category honors projects that have the ability to create significant and long-term impacts on the community, including but not limited to environmental, human, wildlife, and economic aspects in Vietnam.
This criterion considers:
Investment: the project’s financial, human, infrastructure, and policy investment in the past three years.
Long-term commitment: demonstrated budget, numbers of committed sponsors/partners, and long-term written investment commitments.
Impacts: evidence-based outstanding impacts on the community and the environment.
Sustainability:
⮚ A model that creates long-term impacts, and can balance the interests of multiple parties, including but not limited to businesses, partners, supply chains, customers, the natural environment, and laborers.
⮚ Regular and long-term monitoring, supervision, and measurement of project impact indicators.

This category acknowledges products/services developed with the intention of serving the community, efficiently utilizing resources, effectively addressing a community issue, and demonstrating the potential for sustainable development.
This category honors products and services that aim to connect and spread positivity in the community and have the potential for sustainable development.
This criterion considers:
• Humanitarian aspect:
Products or services that are aimed at and connect with the community, spreading positive and good outcomes for the community.
Products or services that have the ability to attract the public's attention and support disadvantaged groups.
Products or services that have the ability to increase awareness about an important issue for the community and inspire other businesses to participate in the ecosystem or create products or services to solve similar problems.
• Completion: the product or service has been completed, brought to the market, and has created business effectiveness. It must not be a trial version or a limited product/service in the PR, promotion, or CSR program of the brand.
• Coverage: the ability to reach the public; the number of customers who have used the product/service.
• Impacts: there is evidence and data to prove that the product/service has contributed to improving the community's quality of life in a positive way.
• Sustainable development: long-term market opportunities for the product/service, including but not limited to the investment scale of the business; the market scale (number of customers; number of businesses in the same industry; revenue scale; supply chain scale, etc.).
This category aims to honor products and services that have been on the market for at least three years and effectively utilize natural and human resources; have contributed to environmental protection; have ensured a safe working environment for employees, and protect consumer rights.
This criterion considers:
• Sustainable management: meeting the sustainable development criteria according to the CSI (Corporate Sustainability Index 2022) by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
• Sustainable value creation
⮚ A product, service, or operational model that has the ability to create shared value and balance benefits among multiple parties, including businesses, employees, partners, supply chains, and government management systems.
⮚ These shared values and benefits are integral and inseparable from the production, business, and management activities of the enterprise, and are maintained in a balanced and long-term manner along with the development of the product or service.
• Sustainable development strategy: the product/service is part of a business strategy built on specific sustainable development goals (SDGs/VSDGs).
• Innovation and practicality: innovation in approaching business models to create the product/service.
The product/service/production model is highly practical and can remain in the long term.
This category honors products/services that have been on the market for at least one year and aim to effectively address at least one environmental issue.
This criterion considers:
Sustainable management: meeting sustainable development criteria according to the
Corporate Sustainability Index 2022 (CSI) of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
Addressing urgent environmental issues:
Products/Services that address urgent environmental issues with supporting data.
Regular and long-term monitoring, supervision, and measurement of project impact indicators.
Having an environment-focused strategy: products/services are developed with a strategy that prioritizes serving society in terms of the environment.
This category honors products/services that have been in the market for at least six months. Businesses develop products based on programs that truly benefit consumers, ensure the rights of workers, and are beneficial to the community.
This criterion considers:
Sustainable management: meeting sustainable development criteria according to the
Corporate Sustainability Index 2022 (CSI) of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
Addressing pressing human issues:
Products/Services address pressing issues related to workers, customers, or communities that can be verified with data
Products/Service prioritize human needs; they are created to serve people while balancing the interests of other factors such as the environment, management, law, etc.
Human-focused strategy: Products/Services are developed based on a strategy that prioritizes social services in the aspect of human welfare
Do you find yourself suitable for the Product category?
This category recognizes groundbreaking initiatives with high applicability, generating positive impacts on society, and aiming towards a sustainable development community.
This category honors projects with feasible initiatives, with the goal of helping the community overcome difficulties or aiming to change community perceptions in a positive
direction, towards sustainable development.
This criterion considers:
• Potentials: the scale of the initiative or project; the number of individuals, households, or networks that can be
benefited.
• Feasibility: the initiative needs to be highly feasible, building the number and scale of activities based on the
actual situation of the market and business.
• Ability to link with the local government, call for funding to implement the project.
This category honors projects and products with implementation initiatives aimed at developing sustainably (e.g. energy, renewable energy, saving, protecting or reducing environmental harm, green living, green business, corporate culture, protecting workers, etc.).
This criterion considers:
• Potential: the scale of the initiative or project; the number of individuals, households, or networks that can benefit.
• Connection/integration with sustainable factors (community, environmental protection, energy, renewable resources, nature).
• Investment capacity, calling for funding to implement the project.
