Mr. Tran Huu Viet graduated from Kharkov University (Ukraine), former Soviet Union, in 1986. He participated in the International Writing Program at IOWA (USA, 2001). He began publishing poetry in 1988. s a poet born and raised during the most intense periods of war, Mr. Tran Huu Viet has both shared experiences with the past generation and grown up in a time of peace and integration, allowing him to approach new ways in world literature. He is the author of several notable poetry collections, including “Pho lac tien” (1994), “Dem mua” (1998), "Tho bon nguoi" (joint publication, 2000), and a translated poetry collection "Khuc hat trai tim" (2006), which won the Translation Literature Award from the Vietnam Writers' Association. In addition, he has received several prominent awards: Poetry Contest Award from Van Nghe Newspaper in the 1989-1990 period. Youth Work Award organized by Tien Phong Newspaper in the 1990-1991 period. Foreign Literature and Poetry Translation Award in 1996. National Journalism Award for the series of articles "Coversations with Literature" in 2019.
